How I spent the Memorial Day Weekend...
One Tuesday on the bike...
****
Discovered Wisconsin SR 23 quite by accident while looking for a different route from the Dells back to Neenah. On my way back to Indiana - the LONG way via Galena, IL and a lovely (and way too short) ride down Illinois 84 - found this little one room schoolhouse cum museum and stopped in. If you ever happen to find yourself in Ripon, stop in and have a look. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and oh-so-quick to point out that the schoolhouse was a non-partisan museum.
I smiled inwardly and enjoyed myself anyway.
