I Can See for Miles...

Remember when I said I lived on the eastern fringe of the prairie? Here's what that looks like.
This is actually one of the more wooded areas, due to the proximity of the Wildcat creeks. Trees grow mainly along creeks and fencerows and swampy areas. If you look at the photo of the fall foliage in the slideshow in the sidebar, that is 100 miles due south of here. Same state, almost a different planet.
